Manulife agent named “Insurance Agent of the Year” at inaugural award

Manulife agent named “Insurance Agent of the Year” at inaugural award Agassi Wang, senior regional director at Manulife Hong Kong, has been named “Insurance Agent of the Year” at the inaugural Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards.

The award recognises Wang’s excellent performance and expertise, client-first mentality, and lengthy service to the industry.
 
Wang is a 22-year insurance veteran and has been with Manulife since 2009. She is the first woman to be appointed as senior regional director of Manulife Hong Kong.
 
In 2015, she achieved twice the amount of the Top of the Table (TOT) requirement under Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). She is also Manulife Hong Kong’s first-ever 2017 TOT qualifier who has already reached four times the TOT requirement in just five months. Overall, she has qualified for MDRT's Court of the Table four times, TOT seven times, and is an MDRT Honor Roll Member.

The first-ever Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards were organized by Asia Insurance Review and LIMRA. They aim to recognize excellence in insurance distribution during the digital era, with nine winners coming from six Asian markets: mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
